Agfa are having a happening from the 18th to 20th October and we’re going to be there – and we think it would be a good idea if you came too. Why? Because as well as demonstrations of the amazing Jeti Mira RTR flatbed printer, this visionary event will embrace the themes of eyes and seeing to showcase Agfa’s latest and most advanced wide-format technology. In addition, there will be daily Q&A sessions, guidance from Agfa’s expert team, prizes, and special deals, bundles and incentives from Agfa’s partners, including – of course – SEDO.
– Create an eye-catching future with the Jeti Mira
The Jeti Mira RTR is a true flat-bed printer that allows users to create high quality, eye-catching graphics at high speed. Whether you’re a sign and graphics producer wanting to increase throughput or a commercial or packaging printer looking for versatility, the Jeti Mira won’t fail to impress. It prints in six colours plus white, you can add varnish or primer, and it hits speeds of up to 227sq m/hour. Furthermore, it has over- and under-printing capabilities that allow you to build layers and incorporate special effects. Come to Eyes Wide Open and you’ll see this formidable workhorse in its full production mode, including its optional roll-to-roll system. And also on display will be a series of extraordinarily detailed images of human and animal eyes printed by a Jeti Mira, showing off the lustrous special effects that can be created.
– Some software for your hardware?
Naturally, to get the best out of a new Jeti Mira, or the hugely versatile Agfa Anapurna range, we’d recommend that you pick up some of the associated software bundles that will also be showcased at the event. Asanti Production sign and display workflow software will automate and streamline your production process, while Asanti StoreFront is a cloud-based web-to-print system that allows you to set up your own print storefront. And then there’s PrintSphere, a cloud-based SaaS solution for standardized data exchange and workflow automation. Each of them has something to offer to a wide-format house looking to grow.
– Why we think you should come along
At SEDO, we’re excited to be one of Agfa’s featured partners at this exciting event. As Andy McGuinness, our Sales Director, points out, “Not only is it a great opportunity to see an advanced flat-bed in full production mode, it will also give SEDO customers the chance to learn how we can support them in optimising their production workflow – which is why the software demonstrations are going to be so interesting.”
Add to that daily Q&A sessions between Leeds-based graphics company Digital Plus and industry consultant James Matthews-Paul, deals and incentives from SEDO, i-Sub Digital, Inkland, GMPI-Repro and Irish Print Support, bonuses for images shared on #agfaeyes and the chance to win a personalised wine opening and bar set – and there’s no reason not to come!
As well as the Jeti Mira, SEDO sells the full Anapurna range, so if you want to talk to us about any of these printers and associated software, contact us and we’ll register you for the event. Alternatively, you can register directly at the Agfa site (https://www.agfagraphics.com/global/en_gb/events/a-new-vision-for-your-business-at-eyes-wide-open.html) – but please remember to mention that you came through SEDO.
– And finally…
Not only that, but next Wednesday, October 19th, is International Print Day! We’ll be supporting the theme of #PrintSmart, looking at how production can become more streamlined and therefore more profitable – and how different businesses can use print to solve problems and generate business. We’re sure you’re on board with this mission, too – so join in on #IPD16 and let’s make the world aware of what print can do.
