When SEDO started out, we were originally called the South Eastern Drawing Office. Which was fine – but geographically limiting. As the company grew, we knew we would need to spread our wings to cover the whole country – hence the change of name to SEDO. Now these plans are coming to fruition. In association with a brand new partner, we’re extending our capabilities so we can reach out to our friends in the North!
Destination Accrington
As from early next quarter, we’ll have the capability to offer demonstrations in the north of England, from a new base in Accrington. (We hear they have football team…) We’re moving our Epson SureColor S80600 into our new media partner’s showroom, from where we’ll be able to take meetings and demonstrate this best-selling printer in action. Who’s the partner, you’re asking? Watch this space!
Why are we doing it?
SEDO Managing Director Andy McGuinness has the answer: “Not only do we think it makes perfect sense to be able to cover the northern part of the country, but I’d go as far as to say that this is an essential first step for us in expanding the company. I want SEDO to have a national presence, rather than just a regional one, and up to now we’ve found that our very southern location has been a barrier to selling to customers in the North. Basildon is a four-hour-plus drive from the north of the country – so it was understandable that potential clients were reluctant to come down for a demo. The solution? We’re bringing the printer to you – and hopefully this is just the start of something amazing.”
We’ll be arriving in Accrington shortly with an Epson SureColor S80600 64”, 10 colour, eco-solvent printer, with white installed. We’ll be able to run demons with Onyx, our RIP of choice for this particular printer, and also with Caldera.
We’ll be announcing more details, including the exact location, as soon as we have a date confirmed – and if you’re interested in seeing this printer in action and talking to one of the team, give us a call to set up an appointment on 01268 742570.
We’re heading for the North!
