Metamark’s MD-CR optically clear polyester window film is a 50 micron crystal clear window film that offers an optically clear finish when applied to glass, perspex and other transparent surfaces. The results are brilliant high-definition images that can be used for permanent graphics, such as architectural window manifestations, or for short-term promotions.
The difference is clear
Using clear window film to create mouth-watering graphics opens up a world of opportunity to make use of an underused space. You’ll be able to help your clients to boost their brand and their offerings with increased visual impact that’s perfect for retail, hospitality and corporate environments.
One of the huge benefits of using optically clear film is that you can apply it to windows, doors and skylights without compromising the quality of the light inside. Unprinted areas remain transparent and, depending on how it’s been printed, the coloured areas can be transparent, translucent or even opaque. This makes MD-CR an incredibly versatile substrate for carrying images and messages across a variety of spaces. You can even feature different designs on either side of the film by using opaque black or white print to ensure they don’t show through, and it gives designers the opportunity to play with the way light and shadow fall through the glass.
It’s also an excellent solution to the HSE requirement for glass doors and panels to feature visible elements to prevent people from walking into them. Compliance with safety regulations can be combined with an exercise in branding if you use a printable film such as MD-CR. A further safety benefit is that applying film to glass doors and windows renders them less likely to shatter.
